Description
• As a member of our physical design team, you will be performing various electrical analyses at the block or chip level, including but not limited to Static/Dynamic IR, EM, Noise and Signal EM.• You will work with the CAD/technology teams for flow bring up and validation.• You will also collaborate with the implementation team during the entire chip design cycle to drive sign-off closure for tape-out.• You will handle schedules and support cross-functional engineering efforts.
Key Qualifications
  • Minimum BS and 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Solid background and knowledge of computer architecture and digital system, circuit design, and low power techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with ASIC or AMS physical implementation and analysis flow.
  • Possess scripting skills to automate and debug verification flows for digital VLSI design.
  • Knowledge with industrial EDA backend verification tools like Redhawk, PrimeRail or Voltus and PrimeTime and Tempus.
  • Past experience with sign-off on successful chip tape-outs will help you succeed on our team.
  • Circuit design background and SPICE experience are a plus.
Education & Experience
Minimum BS and 3+ years of relevant industry experience
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900 and $256,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
