Job Description:
This position requires a deep understanding of agile principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to inspire and lead teams through multiple changes.
The role of the Agility Champion is a complicated and ever evolving one that requires them to be able to build relationships, interact with skill and confidence across the entire product, agility community, development teams and product stakeholders including Operations, Legal, Risk, Compliance and Controls.
Primary responsibilities:
- Champion the adoption and continuous improvement of agile practices across multiple teams
- Provide coaching and mentoring to team members on agile principles, practices, and tools.
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of agile practices and their impact on project outcomes
- Develop and deliver training sessions and workshops to promote agile understanding and skills.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and remove impediments to team progress.
- Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous feedback.
Qualifications
- Close to 15 of years Agile Transformation experience or equivalent – including managing and defining Agility Practices, deriving insights into performance enhancements through data analysis and uplifting the entire product delivery process
- Experience & comfort working within non-linear performance improvement processes
- Strong knowledge of CCB Financial products
- Ability to synthesize large amounts of information to take informed decisions and drive work forward; Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative and cross-functional environment
- Excellent facilitation, written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; able to present facts, thoughts and ideas in a clear, concise and convincing manner to senior stakeholders
- Experience working in agile/scrum teams mandatory; Proven experience in agile coaching or similar roles
- Minimum BA/BS or equivalent level of education/experience required; MBA preferred; Certification in agile methodologies (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, PMI-ACP) and Deep knowledge of agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Lean).
