Apple iOS Frameworks Engineer - Platform Privacy

Description
As a Platform Privacy Engineer, you’ll work to create user-facing features that improve privacy in platforms such as iOS and macOS. You’ll work at the framework level to enable to functionality, design to drive adoption of the features, and work cross functionally with teams from the kernel to the App Store. You’ll tackle novel problems often, and be responsible for multiple projects up and down the stack. You’ll also frequently research, experiment, and test your way to new solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Passion for user privacy
  • 5+ years practical background in software engineering and client development
  • Proficiency in Objective-C, Swift, or another C-based language
  • Experience with lower-level iOS and macOS frameworks, like XPC
  • Experience with developing software for Apple’s platforms
  • Strong background in data structures and system architecture
  • Strong collaboration, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • BA/BS Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $250,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
