This job is responsible for planning and coordinating the execution of project/small program deliverables which requires the engagement of multiple teams. Key responsibilities include communicating work objectives, coordinating delivery, facilitating sync points across teams, providing end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables, and managing program risk and compliance to standards. Job expectations include ensuring delivery meets the client’s expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline, and cost.
Responsibilities:
Leads and coordinates routines to support delivery (for example, kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates, etc.)
Manages coordination of delivery and dependencies across multiple teams
Facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline
Provides status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks, issues, and schedule
Works with sponsors and stakeholders to ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements
Supports resource planning for delivery and execution
Ensures adherence with Enterprise Change Management standards
Ability to manage Networktechnical/engineering/implementation resource tasks and service delivery. This includes FTE/ FTC/ vendors and partners.
Must have the ability to identify, manage, and clearly communicate risk and opportunity to all levels of the organization.
The candidate must have excellent client interfacing skills, vendor/third-party resources, strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with all levels of management. Candidate should have experience operating with colleagues across different time zones with a flexible approach to working hours (ability to work varied hours and weekends a must) to successfully interact and communicate on a global level) if needed.
Accountable to manage the “end or end” technical or solution delivery of assigned tasks partnering with Network architecture and engineering, Release & Deployment Management implementation teams, program /project manager or directly with the requestor. Takes direct accountability for the assigned resources and all assigned work tasks.
Must have the ability to understand and translate business requirements into engineering and or implementation details. Develops, tracks, reports and manages delivery tasks.
Anticipates and proactively resolves issues and conflicts within and between delivery teams and all other stakeholders. Provides regular and pro-active status to management. Escalates as appropriate
Required Skills:
engineering/implementationto ensure that all the necessary documentation has been successfully completed for each release and task.
engineering/implementationto raise Request for Change (CRQ) for engineering specific changes.
- Participates in incident and problem analysis for possible consequences of a change and its implementation.
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills are a must.
Desired Skills:
- Must have strong analytical skills. Continuous process improvement mindset.
- Minimum of 7 to 10 years experience required in technical service delivery, program/project management supporting infrastructure with a working knowledge of networking, including DMZ.
- Physical layer is a plus. Experience with managing program/project financial estimates and ongoing financial forecasting of expenditures.
- Industry Certifications in PMP, CSM (Certified Scrum Master) are strongly preferred, technical certifications such as CCNA are a plus.
- Financial services (Insurance, Banking, Investment banking), is a plus.
- Ability to be nimble and flexible; prioritize workload, proactively react to issues, and consistently react to shifting deadlines.
- Project management experience is a plus, and will not be the only deciding factor to success in this role.
