Qualifications

• ​Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in creating high quality design, code and tests.
• 2+ years of experience with large-scale software engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in delivering high quality production systems/services.
• 2+ years of professional backend development experience.​

• This position will berequiredto pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred/Additional Qualifications

• ​Master's Degree in Computer Scienceor related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Application development and deployment experience with cloud services( e.g.AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Experience in C# and PowerShell.
• Experience in working in DevOps model.​

• ​Build core infrastructure and backend services for the product.
• Drive key architecture decisions and overall direction of the product.
• Design, develop and maintain product features using proven engineering practices.
• Coach, mentor and provide technical guidance to more junior engineers to boost their growth.
• Find bottlenecks in our DevOps process and improve them through smart automation.
• Adjust our services and processes to obey the latest and greatest security and privacystandard.
• Collaborate with other engineers within the product (Warsaw, London, Redmond) and across Microsoft.​
