Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering-related field, or equivalent related experience
  • 2+ years of software design and development experience in API-based cloud service orchestration, with an emphasis on “infrastructure-as-a-service” (compute, storage and network virtualization) as a plus
  • Java proficiency with a track record of designing and developing scalable web API-based request processing systems (e.g. Spring, Kafka) as a plus
  • Familiarity with systems concepts such as operating systems, virtualization, distributed systems, networking
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience integrating with and extending Apache CloudStack
  • Prior work on diverse hardware, operating systems, and virtualization stacks (Qemu, KVM, Libvirt on x86, ARM)
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $250,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
