As an Interest Rate Risk Project Team Associate in the Treasury and the Chief Investment Office (TCIO) you will be responsible for internal project management and direct change execution within the internal Interest Rate Risk Management platform.

You will collaborate with number of areas including product or technical side, participate in top tier industry changes within the reporting process and have a chance for networking opportunity across widespread Team members based in Hong Kong, India, UK, EU and North America. While working within Treasury Middle Office team you will receive dedicated New Joiner Training Program, dedicated budget for equipment while working from home and hybrid working model.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive and take ownership of Interest Rate Risk platform uplift from functional and analytical perspective
  • Track of the change as well as its direct execution (dependent on the complexity) with support of technology partners
  • Identify of change required platform areas including gathering the requirements, formulating the problem statement and presenting to technology partners
  • Maintaining close relationship with the operations Teams and gathering their change requirements
  • Assessing and testing the impacts of upstream data changes to risk metrics results
  • Execute UAT testing

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in the financial services industry within the interest rate/liquidity change area of financial institutions
  • Advanced level of SQL syntax ie. Microsoft SQL Server
  • Ability to independently write complex SQL queries
  • Knowledge of project management techniques ie. waterfall vs agile
  • Knowledge of interest rate risk management techniques
  • Excellent MS Excel skills to be able to work & analyse large data sets
  • Strong analytic, creative thinking and problem-solving skills, aptitude to work with numbers, attention to details
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering, Finance or Business degree preferable)

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Experience around Management Information tools and intelligent automation (i.e. Tableau, Snowflake, Alteryx, Pega)
  • Python experience
  • Experience using JIRA
