The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Warehouse Receiving, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Reviews inbound freight into the SAP EWM system and paperwork to ensure accurate count and batch information of freight.
• Utilizes ERP when necessary to Inbound freight and correct EWM.
• Reviews placard for accuracy with appropriate paperwork for shipping.
• Communicates with the Quality Supervisor on missing pallet, incorrect weight, system issues, etc.
• Files packing slips in appropriate file and rotates as necessary.
• Files paperwork into appropriate tray when receiving is complete: SAP, Legacy, and RDR
• Completes Receiving Discrepancy Reports for items arriving that do not meet QA requirements.
• Reviews and responds to the group email account. Also asks questions or forwards emails that need additional expertise to the correctpersonnel.
• Stocks supplies as needed: Pens, pencils, placards, tape, etc.
• Provides back up for Outbound Transportation asnecessary.
• To receive incoming freight in a timely and accurate manner while addressing any issues with quality, quantity, systems, order, and Legacy to SAP flow issues.

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• High School/ GED diploma or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
• One (1) year of SAP experience including EWM and ERP in a private, public, government or military environment.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• Five years of warehouse experience in a private, public, government or military environment
• Skills include Communication, working well cross functionally, patience, ability to speak with Customers, efficiency, and prioritization.
• SAP knowledge a bonus but not required.
• Analytical thinking and attention to detail will increase success.
• Some technical and warehouse knowledge is essential.
