The responsibilities would also include characterization of electric machines, procedure development and verification, development of MATLAB models for controls design and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing, vehicle benchmarking, leading control algorithm development and validation through dynamometer and vehicle testing. Additional responsibilities would include creation of and support for advanced data post-processing scripts, electric motor modeling and motor control requirements to achieve attribute balance while maintaining stable eMotor controls across the operating range of the vehicle.
