Description
- Design, maintain, and improve global production traffic infrastructure. - Ownership of reliability issues using a wide variety of tools. - Identify areas to improve service resiliency through techniques such as chaos engineering, performance / load testing, and game days.
Minimum Qualifications
- Knowledge of load balancing, service mesh, and edge deployments.
- Familiarity with Networking, Security, Logging, and Application Monitoring.
- Maintaining customer commitments.
- Navigating the complexities of the business and service reliability.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to coach & mentor other ICs.
- Degree in computer science, related field, or 10 years of equivalent work experience is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
- Developing in Go, Python, or similar programming languages.
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $250,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
