Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

    • OR equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years of experience with cloud technologies.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Competency with prompt engineering and large language models (LLM).
  • Good design, development, and testing skills
  • Problem solver with good troubleshooting skills.
  • Be comfortable moving up / down the stack and writing code in both managed and native languages

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop the AI-driven features for Windows Server, focusing on automation, natural language processing, predictive analytics, and intelligent decision-making.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to Microsoft's coding standards and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
  • Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and architecture design to implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with partners to design new systems and management capabilities.
  • Improve existing development processes or infrastructure.
  • Diagnose, identify, and resolve issues that arise in customer environments and deployments.
