What you'll do:

As an “IT Architecture Senior Specialist” in ECS CTO Service Engineering

• You develop concepts to match the requirements of ECS Cloud services with infrastructure and system design
• You support GTM teams with service engineering and operational expertise in large/complex deals
• You conduct internal and customer workshops
• You perform or support technical/architectural projects for SAP Enterprise Cloud Services
• Support troubleshooting of exceptional cases in a 3rd level support role

What you bring:

• Working experience of more than 7+ years in the IT Industry
• Solid hands-on know-how with SAP technologies like SAP NetWeaver, Business Objects, SAP HANA, SAP Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE) and Solution interdependencies
• Knowledge of SAP basis technologies, Network/Web technologies, LINUX based infrastructures, IT Security, IT Business Continuity including High Availability and Disaster Recovery
• Knowledge about one of new virtualization and platform technologies such as VMware or public IaaS solutions like Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge in ITIL methodology and IT Operations
• Excellent working skills in English are a must

Preferred skills

• Experience in the design of (large) SAP landscapes including high-availability and disaster recovery concepts
• Knowledge of network management concepts and tools in an enterprise environment, e.g. DNS, VPNs, NAT, Load balancing etc.
• Experience in architecture and managing Business Objects technology/platform is highly beneficial but not mandatory
