You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. Key job responsibilities- Create simple, repetitive deployment processes that increase both velocity and quality.- Create and update our network standards and ensure that the network is deployed to these standards.
- Create and implement changes on the network.
- Automate workfow and execution of deployments on a global scale
A day in the life
- Manage engineering projects and consultants
- Travel to the work site to observe and inspect field projects
- Work on projects locally and globally.
Build trust and relationships with different stakeholders (e.g., Operations, Commissioning, Construction and Design).
- In field work to see things up close.

- Major internet routing protocols experience through network layers 1-4. TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS
- Working in a Linux/Unix environment experience
- Automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell and/or Perl experience
