Manager, Product Management - Experimentation

This role will support experimentation and personalization platforms within the Enterprise organization, enabling Capital One product managers to iterate on product features or customize experiences to the user. In this role, you will be at the forefront of transforming our organization’s digital experimentation across multiple platforms that are both customer and associate facing. You will play a key role in growing experimentation sophistication and maturity and delivering KPIs, along with the team, that are critical to Senior Leadership.has high visibility within the organization, and you will be at the center of that initiative. Ensuring our tooling is integrated in a well-managed way with our existing platforms and systems and meets our internal customers’ needs to set up experiments easily is also a key part of this role. An important component of this role is technical proficiency and experience working with third-party vendors.

  • You’ll understand and leverage technology and end-state architecture vision to partner with technology team to drive comprehensive design decisions out of white space technical problems

  • You’ll share business strategy and roadmap with Tech partners to establish context while also leading and facilitating agile ceremonies alongside Tech Lead

  • You’ll deliver value by creating reusable, extensible and resilient capabilities and proactively identify opportunities when key metrics on security, resilience and performance are not performing

  • You’ll develop and communicate a 6-month vision to senior stakeholders and partner teams with accurate details and transparency on risks and impediments, and proactively build relationships with those outside of your immediate team resulting in horizontal influence

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience

• At least 3 years of product management experience or at least 3 years of experience in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering

• MBA or Master’s degree

• 2+ years of experience in Agile product management

• 3+ years of experience working directly with digital experimentation tools; such as Adobe Target, Optimizely or LaunchDarkly

• 3+ years of experience executing numerous experiments and facilitating experiment/personalization setup

• Demonstrated ability to interpret marketing or feature A/B testing results quantitatively, including how confidence levels are calculated and interpreted

New York City:
$160,200 - $182,800 for Manager, Product Manager

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
