Key job responsibilities- Develop smart decision engines based on ML models developed by machine learning and applied scientists.
- Own the delivery of end-to-end, full stack solutions.
- Make sound engineering decisions and improve software development practices.
- Build analytics platforms to process large volumes of traffic data, trends in search terms, and other key metrics.

You will lead development efforts to solve large-scale big data problems and build distributed science driven systems. You will oversee the architecture, design and development of our solutions, which gives you the opportunity to work with a wide range of customer-facing technologies (including Tier-1 services) and collaborate with other teams. You will collaborate directly with senior leadership and have direct influence over our teams. You will build ML-driven solutions and large-scale big data systems and services to bring customers who start their shopping journeys on search engines; and you will shape our next-generation automated closed-loop search marketing systems.

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Master's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience working with software teams to define, prototype, and implement great customer experiences.
- Understanding of common design patterns and ability to identify and mitigate design risks early in the development process.
- Experience with AWS Services (S3, Dynamo DB, Kinesis, EC2, Pinpoint, EMR, Step Functions, Fargate, CDK, AWS Glue, etc.).
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs.
- Passionate about mentoring and has deep hands-on technical expertise in full-stack development.
- Able to learn large scale complex systems quickly.
