The purpose of this role is to provide experienced airport operational insights for airside operations, as well as general security and safety expertise into the KSIADC Concepts of Operations task for the KSIADC project. In addition, the role will be capable of providing local emergency and preparedness inputs into the ConOps task.

Located in Riyadh, the role also enables direct engagement with the KSIADC Airport Security and Safety teams as required, as well as with stakeholders as required.

We are seeking an experienced Airport Operations professional with at least five years direct experience in airports, with airside operations, emergency preparedness, security management and safety management skills.

The role of the SME, Airport Operations, Security & Safety is to

  • Be based locally to the KSIADC project and to be a critical part of the Jacobs site-based team.
  • Provide on-site coordination, analysis, and inputs into the Concepts of Operations being developed for the Detailed Masterplan stage of the KSIADC project, and work across the global Jacobs team as a subject matter expert on airport security, aerodrome safety and emergency planning.
  • Be a key liaison with clients and stakeholders on airport security, aerodrome safety and emergency planning matters relating to the new airport’s Concepts of Operations.
  • Act as the primary local contact for clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback related to ConOps aspects relating to airside operations, emergency preparedness, security management and safety management.
  • Organize and participate in regular meetings with stakeholders to discuss project progress, challenges, and potential solutions, add value to our services
  • Translate details into clear and concise information for non-technical stakeholders

The role will work closely as part of:

  • The Jacobs project team based alongside the KSIADC client in Riyadh.
  • the Jacobs ConOps Security workstream, and with the sub-consultants
  • the wider Jacobs ConOps team, providing SME inputs across the ConOps products.
