Responsibilities
• Oversee all aspects of the data center's critical infrastructure. Ensure that all work performed within the space is done to high quality and without impact to internal/external customers
• Manage teams of engineering technicians, operating on a 24/7 basis, in all facets of their career
• Engage in improvement projects to drive them from conception to completion, requiring engagement with multiple stakeholders
• Ensure staffing levels are maintained and grow with expansions
• Be actively involved in ongoing construction activities
• Coordinate daily with multiple third party vendors, ensuring adherence to contracted SLAs
• Effectively and efficiently manage the operations budget and expenditures

• Four year degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical training
• 3+ years of experience in a management position with 5 or more direct reports; preferably managing other managers
• 5+ years of experience working in data centers with an emphasis on building and equipment operations. Advanced understanding of equipment life cycle management
• Experience managing operational and capital budgets. Experience developing staffing models
• An excellent understanding of the electrical and mechanical systems involved in critical data center operational systems that include: feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS systems, ATS units, PDU units, chillers, pumps, air handling units, and CRAC units Proven track record of people management and developing teams
