What you'll do
We are looking for software engineers who are equally eager to develop software, cater for the live systems that power our services, and specialize in a domain of non-functional requirements (like security, performance, networking, etc.) to shape the future design of our systems. As part of our team, you are guaranteed to touch every aspect of developing, running, and supporting an enterprise-grade cloud solution. Your work may involve contribution to an open-source software technology. Learning new skills is part of the job.
Tasks
- Develop and adopt the Temporal open-source software based on stakeholder requirements.
- Operate the Temporal service as part of our DevOps principle.
- Become an expert on our service to support our LoB’s with further adoption.
What you bring
- 8+ years of experience with developing and operating a cloud service.
- Experience in a cloud development language (like JavaScript and/or Golang).
- Be a team player and prioritize tasks that improve our service.
- Attitude to learn new skills as we are just starting our journey.
- Very good English skills for spoken and written communication with our peer teams and for all written documentation.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Understanding of running and operating a service on Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, and/or Google Cloud Platform.
- Developing applications with Cassandra database.
- Deploying applications with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience in managing the network configuration for software solutions.
