In this role, you'll collaborate across a diverse spectrum of teams - from senior leadership to product managers, marketing, finance, operations, and fellow data scientists. Your primary focus will be uncovering quantitative insights about EE product relationships and identifying growth opportunities. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining analytical insights, creating dynamic dashboards, establishing new business metrics, and conducting both tactical and strategic analyses. Your experience in handling large datasets through business intelligence tools will be essential, as will your ability to translate complex findings into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
Key job responsibilities
As a business intelligence engineer, you will/may:
* Be highly data driven, resourceful, customer-obsessed and team oriented
* Use latest AWS provided data analytics and GenAI tools (such as Quicksight, Amazon Q, Sagemaker)
* Own the development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards on the key drivers of our business* Define data driven approaches and metrics strategy to uncover new insights
* Have a passion for sourcing, manipulating, and visualizing data to tell business stories
* Good verbal/written communication and presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
* Work with engineering and data teams to support the development of tools and dashboards
- 5+ years of SQL experience
- Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
- Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results
- Experience with AWS technologies
- Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
- Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining
