As a Software Developer on the Amazon Photos iOS core team, you will solve tough software engineering problems at scale. You’ll design and implement the ongoing evolution of photos experience on different Photos iOS, deliver high quality results and produce exemplary code. You’ll be a champion of best practices. The features you deliver will be at “Amazon Scale” and be loved by users worldwide.Key job responsibilities- Contribute best-in-class programming skills to develop highly innovative, consumer-facing iOS apps.
- Write clean, maintainable code and perform peer code-reviews.- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software against aggressive schedules.
- Analyze and optimize applications to maximize speed and scale, factoring in mobile network latency and bandwidth constraints.

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 2+ years of Apple platform development experience
