What a typical day looks like:
- Follow the purchasing processes defined in the ERP system
- Order materials needed for the production based on the demands received from Planning and based on purchasing parameters received from NPI buyers
- Document and control the PO confirmations
- Track and control the deliveries from suppliers, check and discuss the delivery discrepancies with the suppliers
- Keep continuous contact with the suppliers
- Blocked invoice handling
- Follow the escalation flow coming from material shortages due to various reasons
- Participate in shortage calls, meetings
- Provide accurate data for shortage reporting on a daily basis
- Arrange and track deliveries of purchase orders based on the instructions of the transport team
- Optimize transportation costs, avoid extra costs
- Optimize raw material inventory
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- Minimum High School degree
- Verbal and written fluency in Hungarian & English
- Strong Excel knowledge
- BA or MA in a related field (logistics, economics) is an advantage and we are open to Fresh Graduates
- 1-2 years professional experience inprocurement/purchasing/logisticsfields in an advantage
- Strong analytical & problem solving skills
- Outstanding customer (external and internal) relationship skills
