Tennessee.You will have the chance to work on exciting and engaging roadway infrastructure projects and utilize your transportation design expertise. You’ll be part of diverse, multi-discipline teams in the delivery of transportation planning and design, and highway design projects. Your experience will give you the ability to lead tasks and/or projects and interface directly with our clients. Responsibilities will include:
- Participating in planning, cost development, management, and scheduling for assigned projects.
- Leading the development of solutions to complex problems for municipal roadway projects, including design calculations and quality control
- Using computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks, including developing 3D models and performing highway geometry design using OpenRoads
- Coordinating with other disciplines to include: bridge, environmental, survey, and traffic
- Coordinating closely with contractors, owners, and discipline leads to drive project success.
- Providing technical guidance to junior engineers to further the team’s professional development
