Develops positive working relationships with several groups within BSC, including local sites and other departments and acts as liaison for projects and cross-functional training.

Project Scale: Regional and Global large-scale, cross-functional projects and likely to work on more than one project at a time.
Influences and creates the Value Improvement strategy for our end-to-end and regional processes.
Makes continuous improvement recommendations and presents project conclusions to businesses, functions and management by leveraging leading practices, monitoring performance metrics, and benchmarking performance across end-to-end business processes.
Participates in the month-end close process and acts as liaison with supported sites, as needed.
Supports the accountants on the team, including mentoring and approving journal entries and reconciliations.
Compiles and analyzes financial information through preparation of reports and general ledger journal entries.
Assures financial accuracy for all supported sites and supports all legal entity closings on a monthly basis.
Takes an active interest in seeking opportunities for continuous improvement and standardizing processes across multiple legal entities.
Establishes and communicates accounting processes by maintaining a thorough understanding of SOX controls, GAAP, and new accounting guidance as appropriate.
Works to deliver upon key performance metrics and service levels agreed with business partners.
Minimal requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
5-7 years’ relevant experience.
English level desired: Fluent.
Open to working across global time zones.

Ability to act as team lead of accountants.

Ability to work independently.
Must have highly developed customer relationship skills with strong service orientation.
