Key job responsibilities
* Define the data elements to enable analytical and reporting capabilities, and work cross-functionally with other business intelligence teams
* Own the design, development, and maintenance of the data models that support ongoing metrics, reports, and analyses used to drive key business decisions
* Use expertise in qualitative and quantitative analysis to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders
* Use business intelligence and visualization software (e.g., Quicksight.) to develop dashboards that are used by senior leadership, HST and other health teams
* Drive data democratization throughout the organization, enabling others to self-serve their data needs. Empower technical and non-technical, internal customers to drive their own analytics and reporting (self-serve reporting) and support ad-hoc reporting when needed.
* Develop deep understanding of vast data sources and know exactly how, when, and which data to use to solve particular business problems.
* Design and influence operational best practices for reporting and analytics to enable the team to scale as we grow
* Work with Product Managers, Engineering, Finance, Marketing teams and other stakeholders on need basis to support their new analytics requirements.
* Manage numerous requests concurrently and strategically, prioritizing when necessary.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
- Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
- Strong verbal/written communication & data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams and develop clear, thoughtful, and comprehensive analyses.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
- Master's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
- 5+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
