Job Title: Vice President, Sanctions OperationsDepartment: Payment Operations
Department Overview
• University degree in Business, Commerce or any other discipline
• 12-15 years of people management experience in Sanctions Screening Operations
• Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals in a dynamic and complex environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Knowledge and understanding of Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) compliance
• Knowledge on Message types SWIFT, FED WIRE, CHIPS
• Fluent in both verbal and written communication skills
• Proven management skills with ability to analyze issues and provide solution in a tactful manner
• Ability to work independently and provide support on flexible hours/working days
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills
• Well organized, proactive, constructive and capable to motivate teamwork
• Transition/Process migration experience in a shared service environment
• Flexible in working in any shift • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; Higher education (preferred);
• Knowledge in transaction management (preferable)
• Interbank network
• Payment network systems
• Management of cut-off times
• Required to monitor any wires that are in the queue
• Work directly with Fircosoft and trust sanctions filter
• Utilize World Check/Lexis Nexis screening tools to complete any transnational analysis needed
• Complete any AD HOC screening requests
• Transaction workflow (swift and sepa)
• Rigorous, pro-active, reactivity, curiosity, good interpersonal skills, analytical capability
• Aptitude for teamwork. Ability to work in a stressful environment, risk management, interest in geopolitics
• Proficiency in computer skills (MS-Office).
