In this role, you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Associate Developer at IBM, you’ll work with clients to co-create solutions to major real-world challenges by using best practice technologies, tools, techniques, and products to translate system requirements into the design and development of customized systems. In your role, you will be responsible for:
Your primary responsibilities include:

• Working on the end to end feature development and solving challenges faced in the implementation.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders, internal and external, to understand the problems, issues with the product and features and solve the issues as per SLAs defined.
• Being eager to learn new technologies and implementing the same in feature development.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Extensive experience building and configuring a modern APM solution using New Relic or DataDog.
• Configure the APM solution to perform optimally in line with our client’s expectations.
• Develop baseline activities and be comfortable identifying trends in data to better improve the monitoring strategy.
• Work with development and operations teams to improve application performance, including analyzing code and application architecture to optimize performance.
• Design and implement monitoring and reporting tools to provide real-time visibility into application performance.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Develop and maintain documentation related to application performance management processes, procedures, and tools.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to develop and implement performance testing and tuning strategies.
• Provide guidance and support to development and operations teams on application performance-related issues.
