Program Manager - STET
Job Descriptionwill focus primarily on improving the supply chain project for medical equipment (Magnetic Resonance, Computed Tomography and Advanced Molecular Imaging, Ultrasound, Digital X-ray, etc.).
You are responsible for
- Support global cross-functional teams for assigned projects
- Build internal and external network to identify high-impact supplier transfer projects that result in productivity, quality improvement, and reduction in Total Cost of Ownership.
- Manage the update, as required, of designs to improve manufacturability, performance, quality and cost
- Conduct supplier design reviews
- Review and ensure adequacy of supplier part qualification activities
- Execute and support phase in – phase out (PIPO) planning for assigned projects
- Support input for make/buy analysis
- Support the deployment of early supplier involvement for assigned projects
- Use appropriate project management tools, communicate plans and risk management techniques to create rigor in project planning and execution
- Participates and leads workshops to build cost reduction business cases and funnels
- Active participation in multidisciplinary teams through all phases of the supplier transfer process
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
- B.S. in Engineering
- MS in engineering preferred
- 10 or more years of proven design engineering and project management experience leading cross-functional teams
- Experience supporting global projects
- Experience with CAD software(s)
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of manufacturing quality systems and working in a regulated industry
- Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerance
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills required
