As an Applied Scientist you will work with business leaders, engineers, and scientists to translate business and functional requirements into concrete deliverables, including the design, development, testing, and deployment of highly scalable distributed solutions. You will develop science products and internal tooling to drive new product development decisions and interventions to improve existing products. Current research areas include entity resolution, generative AI, large language models, and product substitutes. This is a unique, high visibility opportunity for someone who wants to have business impact, dive deep into large-scale science problems, enable measurable actions on the Consumer economy, and work closely with scientists and economists. - 3+ years of building models for business application experience
- PhD, or Master's degree and 4+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experience
- Experience in patents or publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals
- Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language
- Experience in any of the following areas: algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, high-performance computing

- Experience using Unix/Linux
- Experience in professional software development
