What you'll do...
What you'll do:
- Develop, test, deploy and maintain scalable software applications using various programming languages, frameworks and technologies.
- Collaborate with a small team of engineers on software development and design, identifying both short-term and long-term solutions. Evaluate proposed solutions, implement new architectural patterns, and conduct design and code reviews for modifications.
- Engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather and understand software requirements and translate them into technical specifications and designs.
- Leverage automated testing tools and CI/CD pipelines to streamline software development and deployment processes.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.
- Work with the team to continuously improve software development methodologies and practices.
- Monitor application performance and provide ongoing support and maintenance, including bug fixes, feature enhancements and system upgrades.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices while continuously learning and adopting new tools, libraries, and frameworks to enhance software development processes.
What you'll bring:
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer science, with a minimum of 2 years of industry experience in software engineering or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot and microservice architecture, including experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud application development including scalable, data driven, and message-oriented architecture.
- Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL Databases (e.g., Cosmos)
- Expertise in version control tools and agile development methodologies.
- Ability to debug complex issues, analyze logs in production environments, quickly understand and build upon existing codebase.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
