A seasoned professional responsible for co-building & refining GEM Region’s commercial strategy in indirect channel in synergy with stakeholders at regional and country level (e.g. leveraging insights from different data sources).
The focus lies in driving more unified channel development initiatives while taking into consideration the variety of countries and business divisions in BSC. This includes working closely with stakeholders across the organization (Divisional and cross-Divisional roles) to identify and assess new opportunities, develop market and financial feasibilities, and help in the end-to-end implementation strategic projects.
The role covers all markets and divisions included in Growth Emerging Markets for Boston Scientific.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ;
Support designing and refining indirect strategies
Assess current model in indirect channel and identify potential areas of improvement (including financial performance)
Analyze multiple data sources (including market best practices: industry and key competitor trends & new technologies) to drive value addition in current business model
Implement long-term strategic planning activities; including standardization and optimization of distributors management
Lead one-off indirect channel business transformation projects / special projects (design to implementation)
Develop & implement change management approaches to drive buy-in on strategic initiatives throughout the organization
Influence senior internal and external stakeholders on business strategies and drive adoption across the organization
Effectively prepare & present business proposals and presentations to leadership team and senior stakeholders
Evaluate the financial impact (ROI and payback-period) of proposed business decisions
Monitor the performance of the indirect channel projects in line with set KPIs. Track changes and provide executive updates to Leadership Team
KEY REQUIREMENTS ;
Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, or related field
5+ years of commercial experience / strategy experience, at least 2+ years in mid to senior project management roles, preferably in a multinational MedTech company
Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and manage external relationships
Solution oriented with critical thinking and ability to break-down complex problems; strong analytical skills
Excellent communication skills - ability to liaise with stakeholders and influence people of a diverse range of backgrounds
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of statistical software packages is a plus
