As a Senior Operations Manager, you will support the launch of a new operational model for Grocery & Retail within Uber Eats UK and once launched you will play a pivotal role in managing the quality of its operations for Merchants, Customers and Couriers. To achieve this, you will proactively find opportunities to enhance the quality of our operations. This involves identifying root causes or process gaps, crafting data-driven solutions, and implementing these solutions through a collaborative network of cross-functional teams. These teams include Marketplace, Commercial, Product, and other Operational units.

• Ownership of Daily Operations Quality: Take full ownership of ensuring the day-to-day quality operations. Create performance tracking tools and deep dives to improve operational quality and business efficiency.
• Strategic Leadership: Lead and drive pivotal initiatives and conduct ad-hoc analyses to address critical areas within your purview.
• Data-Driven Analysis: Conduct in-depth analyses, gaining a deep understanding of the current state of operational challenges and validating key business decisions.
• Project Management: Lead projects geared towards improving operational efficiency. This entails problem-solving, meticulous planning, and effective coordination of cross-functional teams.
• Product Collaboration: Maintain the relationship with the Product team to stay abreast of all product developments that could enhance operations and experience. Establish a feedback loop to communicate local concerns to these teams.

• 4+ years of professional experience in consulting, operations, strategy, or analytics
• SQL Skills: Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and insights.
• Strong Business Experience: Demonstrated experience in driving scaled operations, formulating strategies, or managing projects/programs at a high level.
• Problem-Solving Expertise: We need someone with a great problem-solving approach with the ability to identify issues, conduct the necessary analysis, and devise effective solutions.
