- Work with and support Engineering Managers, Design Engineers and Vehicle level Program Managers on defining, implementing and driving program requirements
- Manage timelines, communications, quality, risks, communicating roadblocks & critical paths, and any other issues that arise for the launch and validation of new vehicle sub-systems and components in all Tesla factory locations.
- Organize and lead project specific meetings with key internal stakeholders, drive decision and escalate, if needed.
- Support local cross functions with new product BOM validations including managing local part number releases where necessary
- Manage local engineering prototype builds
- Plan for local changes, initiated by the Engineering team, of parts and systems according to Tesla Change Management process
- Collaborate with local cross functions to support overall vehicle launch milestones and prototype/production build events
- Education background in engineering / science discipline, or equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional ability
- Experience in project planning, tracking schedules, risk mitigation with business degree preferred
- Motivated, active collaborator - ability to work cross-functionally between engineering, production, and supply chain personnel.
- Strong capabilities in visualization of data, schedules and program risks – Powerpoint and Excel skills are a must
- Ability to find creative resolutions to technical and cross-functional challenges
- Detail oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skills
- Catia/CAD and BOM management skills preferred
