Work with and support Engineering Managers, Design Engineers and Vehicle level Program Managers on defining, implementing and driving program requirements
Manage timelines, communications, quality, risks, communicating roadblocks & critical paths, and any other issues that arise for the launch and validation of new vehicle sub-systems and components in all Tesla factory locations.
Organize and lead project specific meetings with key internal stakeholders, drive decision and escalate, if needed.
Support local cross functions with new product BOM validations including managing local part number releases where necessary
Manage local engineering prototype builds
Plan for local changes, initiated by the Engineering team, of parts and systems according to Tesla Change Management process
Collaborate with local cross functions to support overall vehicle launch milestones and prototype/production build events
What You’ll Bring
Education background in engineering / science discipline, or equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional ability
Experience in project planning, tracking schedules, risk mitigation with business degree preferred
Motivated, active collaborator - ability to work cross-functionally between engineering, production, and supply chain personnel.
Strong capabilities in visualization of data, schedules and program risks – Powerpoint and Excel skills are a must
Ability to find creative resolutions to technical and cross-functional challenges
Detail oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skills
