You will work with talented group members across the globe that develop a Data Warehouse. The product provides support for ingesting massive data volumes and executing BigData analytical queries on that data. Technology stack we use: Spark and Spark Structured Streaming, Kubernetes on Cloud (Azure, Linode), Spring, Prometheus, Grafana.

As a Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for:

• Designing, developing and rolling out Big Data systems and services
• Collaborating with other teams to deliver to market mission critical data systems
• Developing new and enhancing existing capabilities within data warehousing services
• Following SW development methodology best practices
• Handling feature development from idea inception through design and testing to operational deployment
• Working on projects that focus on system scalability, performance and security

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have relevant experience and a Bachelor in Computer Science or related field OR
• Have 3 of relevant experience and a Master in Computer Science or related field
• Have experience developing Java or Scala software
• Be familiar with Object Oriented Programming concepts
• Demonstrate solid communication skills and be able to present to various stakeholders
• Be a self-starter, proactively taking the initiative to solving problems and motivation to improve results
