The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Conducting thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and potential opportunities in the personal and skin care space.
  • Identifying, evaluating, and capitalizing on new business opportunities in the personal and skincare market.
  • Evaluating the size and potential of identified opportunities, including market size, growth potential, and competitive landscape.
  • Performing financial analysis to assess the viability and profitability of new business opportunities.
  • Collaborating with R&D and product teams to conceptualize and develop new products tailored to the identified opportunities.
  • Engaging with potential customers and partners to gather feedback and validate product concepts and market strategies.
  • Developing comprehensive go-to-market plans, including pricing, distribution, and promotional strategies to ensure successful product launches.
  • Ensuring that all new products and business strategies comply with relevant regulations and standards in the personal and skin care industry.
  • Monitoring and analyzing the performance of new products and strategies, adjusting as necessary to achieve business objectives.
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders such as marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to align on strategy and execution.
  • Driving profitable results aligned to business priorities and strategies for the 3M CHC Skin Care portfolio globally.
  • Developing and executing marketing strategies to drive awareness, engagement, and adoption of the 3M Skin Care portfolio.
  • Leading the 3M Skin Care portfolio optimization programs, global marketing plans, and global pricing strategy.


To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration, marketing, or a related field (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
  • Five (5) years of experience in the personal and skin care industry, with a strong understanding of market dynamics, consumer behavior, and industry trends.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Knowledge and Experience with one or more disciplines such as: market research, channel marketing, business/market development, branding, new product development, marketing communications or sales.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and standards in the personal and skin care industry to ensure compliance.
  • Proven experience in consumer retail business development, product management, or a similar role, with a track record of successfully identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.
  • Familiarity with the product development process, including concept development, prototyping, and commercialization.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess market opportunities, perform financial analysis, and develop business cases.
  • Strong project management skills to oversee the development and launch of new products and initiatives.
