Key job responsibilities- Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment in a data center.
- Operate independently with limited direct management.
- Act as an escalation point for all facilities-related issues within the data center, escalating to the Data Center Facility Manager as needed.
- Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures.- Provide training and guidance to Engineering Operation Technicians.- Utilize internal CMMS to manage building workflows.
- Communicate complex technical information to a non-technical audience.
- Fully comply with all physical security procedures and policies.
- Respond to off hour emergency calls related to his data centers and help with the investigation, mitigation, and recovery of the issue(s).- Ability to work in an environment that operates 24/7 with an ability to provide after-hours support as needed. All physical requirements are expected with reasonable accommodations

- 5+ years of relevant work experience in a data center or other critical environment.
- 5+ years of experience of the electrical and mechanical systems involved in critical data center operations such as: generators, transformers, switchgear, UPS systems, ATS units, PDU units, pumps, air handling units, and CRAC units.
- 3+ years of experience with BMS and EPMS control systems and data collection/trending
- 2+ years’ experience in the operation and maintenance of Data Center Direct to Chip Liquid Cooling Systems
- Bachelor's or College's degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent work experience in Mechanical/Electrical Field.
- Electrical or Mechanical trade (Post-Secondary Education)
