The Role
We strongly believe in engineering teams being responsible for the operations of their services in production. In this role, you’ll work closely with engineers to advocate and participate in sensible, scalable, systems design and share responsibility with them in diagnosing, resolving, and preventing production issues.
Core Responsibilities:
- Handle support and operations of software, including monitoring and alerting, configuration management, and upgrades.
- Rollout new products at customer deployments and perform migrations to the latest infrastructure types.
- Debug, improve, and optimize services and infrastructure with a focus on long-term reliability and scalability.
- Reduce manual operations and automate processes, runbooks, and/or workflows where possible.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call support rotation, one out of every 4 weeks.

Here's what you'll need
- Experience with Java, Python, Bash, and be comfortable coding and/or utilizing tooling built in these languages.
- Strong debugging skills and ability to deep dive into technical problems.
- High quality execution with extreme detail orientation.
- Strong operational skills.
- Proactive and strong written and verbal communications.
What We Require:
- Bachelor's degree or above
- US Security Clearance - TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
- DoD 8570 IAT Level 1 Certification (Sec+, CISSP, etc.).
- DoD 8570 Computing Environment Certification (Linux+, Redhat Certified System Administrator, COMPTIA Server+, etc.).
