is a mid-senior level management position responsible for leading a team of Automation Analysts tasked with accelerating the transition from manual, sample-based testing of controls to automated, full-population testing across the Wealth business. The team is responsible for providing thought leadership in the technical design & development of control testing automation solutions, as well as overseeing the progression of automation requests across all phases of the deployment lifecycle (requirements design, development, validation, production deployment).

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for end-to-end delivery of control monitoring & testing automation tools for Wealth businesses, overseeing development life cycle of Control Monitoring & Testing Automation from requirement management to implementation.
  • Serve as technical subject matter expert in the tools and capabilities leveraged in the deployment of automated control monitoring & testing solutions (SAS/SQL/Python development, low-code automation tools, etc.)
  • Oversee the control Monitoring & testing automation pipeline, responsible for escalating any roadblocks and continuously forecasting the work effort.
  • Develop and implement data analytics strategies to support business objectives and drive decision-making processes.
  • Provide strategic recommendations based on data-driven insights to support business planning and resource allocation.
  • Stay current to industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics to constantly improve process and methodologies.
  • Liaison with Business, R&C teams, Operations and Technology stakeholders to identify Control Testing Automation future opportunities and create framework around it.
  • Critically Assess new tools and identify those that align with organizations goals and technical landscape.
  • Proactively communicate control monitoring & testing automation progress to Senior stakeholders.
  • Lead a team of Mangers and SMEs (Designers, Developers, Testers, solution Leads, production support etc.) & Automation Development Analysts tasked with:
  • Serving as Automation architect & developer by translating business requirements into a technical design and developing an automated solution.
  • Identifying the specific data sources, and underlying data elements, that will be used to automate control monitoring & testing solutions (full-file control testing vs sample-based).
  • Developing code (SAS, SQL, Python) to interrogate data sources (Teradata, Hadoop, SAS Grid, etc.) and validate starting population and exception logic.
  • Producing a standardized, handoff package to document the technical requirements needed for accelerated code development.
  • Formulating and defining scope and objectives for complex, high-impact automated control testing solutions and problem resolution through in-depth analysis and evaluation of complex business processes, systems and industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • 12+ years relevant experience in data analytics and/or automation, 5+ years of direct management experience.
  • Knowledge of software development and automation tools (SAS, SQL, Python, PySpark, Hive, Altryx) programming languages and best practices
  • SME in Wealth (CG/CPC, CPB, WaW) Domain with more than 2+ years of experience
  • Working knowledge of source systems DWH, EAP, Attestation, OSP1, etc.
  • Proven record of achievement in leading an analytical team with discipline and process.
  • Effective communication, written and presentation skills.
  • Excellent people and relationship management skills with the ability to influence others and foster a sense of collaboration.

Education:

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in information systems/technology/Statistics/ Mathematics/Computer Sciences/ Engineering, or a related quantitative field is required from a premier institute.
