Deep-knowledge of communication system theory and signal processing.
Knowledge of RF systems, RF impairment modeling and mitigation techniques (phase noise, IQ imbalance, DC offset, etc), digital RF-front design.
Knowledge of cellular communication standards: 5GNR FR1/FR2, 4G LTE, 3G (HSPA), 2G GSM.
Experience with automatic gain control (AGC) for LTE/NR is a plus.
Experience with analog and digital beam forming techniques and MIMO systems.
Fluent in Matlab, and/or C/C++/Python for algorithm development, modeling (floating-point and fixed-point) and link-level simulation.
Strong analytical skills (linear algebra, random processes, detection and estimation, etc.).
Experience in chip bring-up including the use of lab equipment such as protocol test equipment, spectrum. analyzers, signal generators, power meters, etc. a plus.
Hands-on experience in lab testing & characterization is a plus.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Education & Experience
BS with 10+years of relevant experience.

The base pay range for this role is between $170,700.00 and $300,200.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
