As Manufacturing Process Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining specific tools on a manufacturing production or NPI line. The successful candidate will be able to work with minimal supervision, take initiative and collaborate effectively. You will demonstrate a willingness to learn, flexibility, creative problem solving, exemplary communication skills and an ability to think on their feet.
Communicates with engineers and technical specialist regarding sputter metrology tools measurement results and calibration procedure. Able to revise any documents changes regarding sputter metrology
tools.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve sputter instrumentation issues
  • Maintain and update sputter instrument documentation including standard work procedures, process specifications, etc
  • Facilitate small process improvement projects through collection and analyzing data and monitoring engineering trials
  • Entering and compiling data relating to metrology measurement
  • Training in the functions of the new project launches
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED:

  • Minimum Diploma in a technical field such as Electronics or Engineering.
  • A minimum of 0-2 years of experience in R&D / Industry or Academic Research / Testing / Instrument troubleshooting.
  • Operator or Technician experience.

PREFERRED:

  • Preferred Bachelors in a technical field such as Electronics or Engineering.
  • Experienced with hard-disk drive technology is preferred.
  • Experience with Sputter metrology.

SKILLS:

  • Fair in Microsoft Office tools such as Powerpoint, Excel, and Word
  • Fair in Reading, Writing, and listening of English
  • Able to develop relationships of trust and confidence with team and work as good teamwork.
