The IM Archiving space – In this role, the Engineering Lead Analyst will work with the Total Conduct team, the Archiving team, and the application to manage the testing and implementation of new feeds into Citi. This will include testing and implementation of changes to the Total Conduct relays which the Total conduct relay to make sure that messages are fed to which accept messages from various sources (other than user mail).
Updating of the Sendmail executable, configuration files, and the configuration distribution tools (Ansible Playbooks & Chef) that need to be maintained, tested, and supported across a number of the hardware and software platforms.
Supporting the broader team to ensure activities such as the ProofPoint buffer refresh, move to cloud, reconciliation process (key Compliance deliverable for Off Channel communication) and Sentrion upgrades (Citi’s Messaging backbone EOVS) complete successfully.
Serve as a technology subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders and provide direction for all firm mandated controls and compliance initiatives, all projects within the group and in creating a technology domain roadmap
Ensure that all integration of functions meet business goals
Define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process enhancements
Recommend product customization for system integration
Identify problem causality, business impact and root causes
Qualifications:
6-10 years of relevant experience in an Engineering role ideally in an MTA role with experience with Sentrion and Sendmail
Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment
6 plus years of strong demonstrated work history with Linux
6 plus years of strong demonstrated work history of Shell Scripting experience
Experience with Sentrion and/or Sendmail
Postfix would be a huge plus.
Mongo would be a huge plus.
Experience with automation tools is a huge plus.
Project Management experience is a huge plus
Demonstrated clear concise written and verbal communication wit the ability to work both with internal employees as well as external vendors
Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting to identify best practices
Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
