Extensive experience leading a Network Operations Team, running high-performing teams within a large-scale global Enterprise organization or service provider environment.
Key responsibilities include demonstrating leadership and people management skills, critical thinking, tactical execution, and a persistent attention to detail. Additionally, experience in evaluating and leading outages to business-critical infrastructure is crucial.
Self-motivation, strong analytical and organizational skills, and the ability to deliver clear and effective leadership service updates are also crucial. Proficiency in network monitoring and telemetry tools, such as SNMP, NetFlow, and Streaming Telemetry, is vital.
Experience with Python, Ansible, Perl, Go, and other automation and tooling languages is also required.
Solid grasp of TCP/IP, IPV6, DHCP, and BGP is needed.
Proficiency in communicating network-related critical metrics and conducting operational reviews to management is required. Experience working in large-scale network environments with ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes is also vital.
Flexibility to work early morning or late-night shift patterns required
Generative AI expertise to develop predictive maintenance models, anomaly detection systems, and autonomous troubleshooting solutions
