Directsthe activities of multiple project managers that manage and remotely supervisemultiple fast paced, quick turnaround projects for various Strategic Accountcustomers. You will be indirectly managing a team of engineers, programmers,field technicians, and project assistants. You will oversee the personnel andorganizational needs of the staff and may directly manage some projects.
Key Responsibilities - Establishes overall objectives and initiatives for the Strategic Accounts projects group
- Has P&L responsibility for Strategic Accounts projects group.
- Actively works to document project processes and needs. Identifies and develops opportunities for process improvements in both quality and efficiency.
- Works towards establishing standards in customer and project services.
- Interfaces with other departments (e.g. manufacturing, finance) to resolve customer needs and project issues.
- Meets weekly finance and leadership team to review and confirm monthly revenue projections
- Routinely reviews account assignments and overall workload, redistributing or supplementing as necessary.
- Establishes and approves appropriate material and labor costs in project estimates.
- Participates in estimate review process for new accounts or large scale retrofit projects.
- Conducts annual personnel performance reviews.
WE VALUE - Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with significant experience in the field.
- A thorough knowledge of D.D.C. technology, personal computer systems and software (including Microsoft Office) is required.Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
- Candidates should have five or more years’ experience in the building automation industry, with demonstrated capability in project management and problem resolution.Recognized professionalism in customer relations.
