The team builds the foundation for the HCM Cloud product for SuccessFactors. The product management team will provide direction and leadership and drive solutions for platform services to meet requirements from both internal and external customers and different module teams.
What You'll Do
As a Technical Product Manager, you work closely with the product engineering teams to understand requirements and gather feedback on current tooling to build and execute on a roadmap for the platform. Find common use cases across the product line to consolidate effort through common componentry. Own platform features and drive them to completion through the epics and stories you write with your scrum team. Enforce standards and keep teams within the guardrails of platform use and ensure that proper documentation and training is provided to all engineering teams.
This role has a focus in daily deployment and micro-delivery. You'll lead our organization through significant transformation of the release process, ensuring continuous delivery of incremental improvements leveraging automation tools, CI/CD practices, feature toggle techniques to safely introduce new features into production environments with rapid innovation and high-quality standards. You’ll partner with stakeholders across the organization (Engineering, Operations, Security and Application PMs), navigate and lead teams through organizational changes in adopting new tools, processes, and methodologies as well as onbaord existing and new microservices to the new CI/CD framework.
Required Skills and experience:
An understanding of product architecture and technologies in the market
Strong analytical, oral and written communication skills. An ability to clear communicating complex concepts.
5+ years professional/industry work experience with a strong drive for change management and ability to lead organization transformations effectively
5+ years of product development experience preferred
2+ years product management experience on cloud-based enterprise applications
A track record of working with teams across an organization, who may have different priorities, to achieve business results.
BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline
Strong leadership and change management skills to influence stakeholders, navigate through the face of challenges/push-back and embrace change with confidence.
Understanding of DevOps principles (CI/CD pipelines, containerization, orchestration tools like Kubernetes, change management) preferred
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools (e.g Jira and Confluence)
Exposure to public clouds (i.e. Azure, AWS, GCP)
