Manage a team of Field Service Technicians/Electricians, set schedules and priorities to aid in the troubleshooting and repair of equipment within assigned sub-region
Be ready to travel for extended periods of time covering multiple locations in the respective region with minimal notice. Maintain high levels of communication and feedback within the service organization; prepare daily updates of work completed, problems identified, and future timelines
Exercise discretion and independent judgment while overseeing the field service work and their successful completion of work orders as they relate to troubleshooting down or underperforming systems
Evaluate the work of technicians and electricians to provide both quarterly and yearly performance reviews along with controlling overall regional spend and when needed propose cost effective solutions
Responsible for the day-to-day operation. Including acting on actual events, arrange resources and monitor the progress. Review expense reports and timesheets for accuracy
Provide comprehensive onboarding, on-the-job training, and ongoing development resources for Field Service Technicians. Collaborate with supporting departments to implement effective training programs and ensure standardized processes are in place for technical proficiency and safety compliance
Safety oriented, ability to prioritize safety standards for the field and escalate activities that may jeopardize the safety of field technicians or equipment
What You’ll Bring
Will have Commercial BESS and DC Fast Charging experience preferred with 1+ years experience creating Scopes of Work for maintenance or electrical services
Will have 3+ years of experience working within maintenance, operations, and management
Ability to manage voluminous amounts of data especially while using Excel, Outlook, and Word
Strong attention to detail, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
Experiencing writing Corrective Action Reports and strong Case Management skills and familiarity with ticketing systems such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) preferred
Recent training and current certification as required in OSHA / NFPA 70E / Safety experience with Commercial and Industrial electrical systems preferred
Valid driver's license required. Ability to work a flexible schedule, may include weekends, evenings and holidays
