Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with analyzing datasets within abuse/fraud detection or web security research.
Experience in one or more of the following: querying and analyzing datasets (e.g., SQL, MapReduce), statistical analysis (e.g., R, Stata, SAS) or data related programming (e.g., Python, C/C++).
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, or a related technical field.
Experience in one or more of the following areas: Statistical analysis and Machine Learning libraries (e.g., R, Tensorflow), Programming languages (e.g., Python), Large Language Models (LLMs) or Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Knowledge of how the internet works economically, socially, and technically; with fraud detection, security, phishing, malware, or a related topics.
Ability to communicate technical concepts.
Ability to prioritize stakeholder demands, managing multiple responsibilities in a changing environment.
Excellent problem-solving and thinking skills with attention to detail in a changing environment.
