Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) regions are designed for customers with unique personnel, physical, and information security requirements. Additionally, this role will lead Development efforts to close functional gaps through architecture changes and improve the builder and customer experience through automation. As a manager, this role is responsible for the experience, growth, and development of their employees.This position requires that the candidate selected must currently possess and maintain an active Top Secret security clearance. The position further requires that, after start, the selected candidate obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph or commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.Key job responsibilities

- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above
- 5+ years of professional software development or systems engineering experience
- 3+ years of experience managing software or systems engineering teams
- 2+ years of experience working with engineering teams to deliver software requiring coordination between multiple teams in disperse functional groups

- Success delivering products/services in a high-growth environment, exhibiting strong ability to identify and solve ambiguous customer-focused problems
- Ability to take raw product requirements and create system architectures and designs to bring them to life.
- Analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and perceptions
- Attention to detail with proven ability to juggle multiple, conflicting priorities simultaneously and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- You have a track record of delivering technical programs, projects, and products in a highly technical multi-team environment
- Excellent written, spoken, and listening communication skills
