Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C#, Java, or JavaScript
  • OR equivalent experience.
• 4+ years' experience writing queriesusinga mainstream dbms like MySQL, MariaDB, or Cassandra, etc.
• 3+ years experience in full stackengineering environment using a mix of any of the followingNodeJS,UI frameworks –Angular,

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.
• Experience working through the full product cycle frominitialdesign to rapid production deployment and shipping software products across multiple platforms/devices.
• Experience with systems architecture and designing fault-tolerant zero-downtime services that support security and compliance across multiple economic regions.
• Familiarity will AI concepts, including LLMs and prompt engineering.
• Expertise indesign, analytical,and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on quality and engineering excellence.
• Proficiency inmajor cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $108,100 - CAD $199,700 per year.

• Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders to determine user requirements for a scenario.
• Drive identification of dependencies and the development of design documents for a product, application, service, or platform.
• Create, implement, optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code to establish and improve performance and maintainability, effectiveness, and return on investment (ROI).
• Leverage subject-matter expertise of product features and partners with appropriate stakeholders (e.g., project managers) to drive a workgroup's project plans, release plans, and work items.
• Proactively seek new knowledge and adapts to new trends, technical solutions, and patterns that will improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products while also driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale.
• Mentor and guide engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions usingmodern development techniques.
