Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategies to meet business strategy goals and demonstrate in-depth understanding of how Technology Infrastructure integrates within the overall technology function to achieve objectives
  • Lead group of engineers providing 16 X 7 support for all STP products in production environment.
  • Engage respective product leaders to organize people, improve procedures, drive automation and self-service initiatives across the group
  • Resolve issues that have impact beyond own area and apply in-depth understanding of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas.
  • Provide services by using insights from stakeholder/partner relationships, actively seeking information to understand issues, expectations, and needs.
  • Ensure essential procedures are followed and contributes to defining standards and recommend reengineering efforts for continuous improvement.
  • Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of information in complicated, unique, and dynamic situations, drawing on diverse range of internal and external sources
  • Persuade and influence others through communication, diplomacy skills and negotiate with external parties or vendors as needed.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
  • Ensuring high availability and production stability for Shared technology platforms during EMEA and APAC business hours. Participate in MIM calls ensuring timely updates to STP Senior Management and engaging STP leads in case of escalations.
  • Oversee and participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for major incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • The Senior leadership is needed to oversee even the IEM (Infrastructure estate managers) who primarily help applications for Infrastructure procurement, delivery and EOVs remediations
  • Serve as an escalation point for critical issues and communicate effectively to the STP and IEM leadership.

  • Extensive expertise and in-depth knowledge inone or someof middleware or shared technology platform products listed below for its architecture, infrastructure, and design is Required. Knowledge on some of other products listed is desired (not required)
  • The technology product suit includes Kafka, IBM WebSphere Application Servers, Business Process Management ( BPM), Tibco Messaging, Fuse, ECS & Open shift, BI (MicroStrategy, SAP BO), Oracle WebLogic, Apache Tomcat, WebSphere Liberty, IBM HTTP Server, IIS ( internet information Services), ETL (Talend & Ab initio).
  • Exposure and operating Knowledge on tools like: ITRS, Autosys, AppDynamics, Service now(SAAS), Starfleet , Ansible, uDeploy, Splunk, Kibana, Citi Automation Services etc.
  • Proven track record of working on production environments, technical team management, handling production issues and escalation management.
  • Providing technical and leadership supervision on Major incident calls to ensure investigations are driven in correct direction for quick, faster and permanent resolutions minimizing financial and reputational losses.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify key issues, gather data to investigate those issues and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Experience on driving initiatives for identifying and implementing service improvements in production environments.
  • Expertise on monitoring strategies and initiatives for upscaling production stability.
  • Project management knowledge: Presentation, budget forecasting, Project plan.
  • Strong analytical, diagnostic and negotiations skills. Ability to engage and convince Senior business stake holders for timebound resolution of production issues and ensuring root cause analysis for permanent resolutions.
  • Demonstrations of strong technical leadership to drive, track and deliver critical projects.
  • Proven history of driving self-service automations projects to reduce manual touchpoints and timely deliveries in line with organizations and team’s expectations.
  • Experiences in deploying best practices and standard operating procedures in production environment and automating repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to understanding technical and functional specifications documents written by technology teams.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in a technology infrastructure role with experience in people and project management and selected infrastructure technologies.
  • Experience in financial services or large complex and/or global environment preferred Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication with ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Proven ability to develop projects required for design of metrics, analytical tools, benchmarking activities and identification of best practices.
  • Proven analytical, diagnostic and prioritizing skills with focus on execution and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to both work independently and partner with virtual teams in a high-pressure matrix environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of various parts of a project/initiative with tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectation/ requirements.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience

• Master's degree preferred
