About the Role

The Director, HR Tech role will be perfect for someone with extensive experience of management, development and execution of HR strategy related to HCM systems, other HR platforms and internally built applications. You will be leading, developing and maintaining an HRIS governance structure to ensure alignment with business processes with a view of continuous improvement of our HR systems.

What You'll Do
  • Support development of global HR Tech strategy & deploy successfully throughout the organization, using appropriate data to influence decision making
  • Act as thought leader, challenge the status quo and influence change up, down and across the organization, integrating disparate ideas and interests
  • Lead the strategy, implementation, integration and optimization of the People tech stack in alignment with the vision of the P&P programs, processes and policy strategies
  • Enable process simplification & automation to drive data accuracy across our platforms
  • Manage various 3rd party vendors effectively and engage in RFPs and contract renewal negotiations where needed
  • Proactively advise on global compliance changes impacting the candidate or employee process with HR systems in partnership with Legal & HR
  • Ensure all HR systems comply with federal regulations & internal company policies
  • Drive the HR Technology ecosystem to a stable state, ensuring that all groups using HR systems are enabled as appropriate
  • Drive the continuous assessment & maintenance of HR Tech solutions, elevating quality, efficiency, performance & scalability of HR systems
  • Develop and maintain system governance structure aligned with business processes
Basic Qualifications
  • 10+ years experience in a technical or operational HR role
  • Deep knowledge of Workday including implementation experience
  • Experience with leading HCM/HRIS/ATS transformation projects end to end
  • Experience leading a team
  • Management of third party vendors including relationship management, contract renewal, negotiations, partnerships with cross functional partners such as internal Strategic Sourcing
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience at multinational mid to large size enterprises

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$198,000 per year - USD$220,000 per year.
