As a Manager of Portfolio Management at Capital One, you will streamline portfolio operations across Cloud Operations Resilience Engineering (CORE), enhancing efficiency and alignment with business objectives. You will support a standardized intake process, ensuring decision-making flows and prioritization steps to ensure the business effectively manages intake from various sources. Furthermore, you will support Jira standardization efforts across CORE teams, driving consistency in workflow management and reporting.

General Responsibilities:

• Contributing to streamlining portfolio operations across Cloud Operations Resilience Engineering, to include a standardized intake process

• Supporting strategic roadmap activities for Portfolio Management function

• Developing reporting dashboards that integrate delivery metrics with portfolio spend and supporting Jira standardization efforts across CORE

• Supporting CORE teams in their adoption of Jira standards, enabling the operationalization of our strategy

• Providing planning and execution support across key leadership team rhythms, such monthly business review, portfolio planning, and prioritization sessions.

• Partnering cross-functionally to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive enhanced alignment with business objectives

• Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments

• Exhibit outstanding influencing skills to effectively drive project / program efforts

• Have excellent communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes

• Identifying opportunities to streamline, automate and enhance our data management practices, processes and controls, and validations

• Developing reporting dashboards that integrate delivery metrics with portfolio spend and supporting Jira standardization efforts across CORE

• Supporting CORE teams in their adoption of Jira standards, enabling the operationalization of our strategy.

• Analyzing data and influence others to proactively identify data risks and trends

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification

• At least 4 years of Process or Risk Management experience

• At least 2 years of Continual Improvement experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Project Management experience

• 5+ years of experience in Process management

• 2+ years of Jira experience

• PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Strong problem solving and influencing skills

• Work experience achieving results with complex projects

• Bachelor’s Degree
